- Germaine GreerLove this portrait. I find Greer fascinating. Beautiful, tough, agressively sexual and tremendously polarizing. Reading this interesting assortment of Encounters with Germaine Greer, it seems most anyone who has met her found her compelling. In sort of a love-hate way. The way you do with people who are wildly outspoken and at the same time preternaturally charismatic.
I saw this portrait of Germaine Greer in an exibition of nude photography in Edinburgh, a few years ago - for me this was the most appealing of all the photos exibited. I thought it captured Germaine's character and sexuality in a beautiful yet subtle and gentle fashion. The spectacles add the intellectual inference that completes the picture. Wonderful !!
