The work of Fumi Nakamura can be viewed at miniminiaturemouse.com. Her drawings vary from frenetic and overflowing with macabe details to muted line drawings with restrained use of color. The men and women in her work have distinct, interesting faces usually with ruddy rosy noses and cheeks. Often paired with animals, there is a rawness to them that appeals to me. She shows all over the States, as indicated on her exhibitions page.
